Day 2 | Niagara Falls (Environment)
We start off Day 2 of our cold Canadian trip in our hotel rooms. Vik and Eddie are in one room and James, Brian, and I are in the other. We couldn't fit everyone in one room because it's illegal to have more than four people in a room for "safety reasons". Today, we toured the beautiful Canadian side of Niagara Falls. We ate breakfast at the complementary diner in the lobby of the hotel and headed out at around 11:00 am. The drive to Niagara Falls about 1 hour and 30 minutes and it was horrendous with the incredible amount of traffic. We paid to get in and then we parked in the parking lot. We got there late so it was challenging to find a parking space. We eventually found one, but it was almost a mile from where the actual falls were. We took another 20 minutes to get to the falls by foot. Once we got there, we were just flabbergasted. The falls were so awe striking that we all had to take another breath. We all quickly walked up to the edge of the cliff where the railing met and we were sprayed with a fine mist.
James said with awe, "Wow. I never though it would be this large. Do you feel that spray too?"
Eddie replied with, "Yeah, it feels like riding a bike through fog or something." He was right. If I had ever rode a bike through fog, I'm sure it would feel like what Niagara Fall's mist did. Splitting from the topic of bikes and mist, I would like to write about the beautiful hike we took. Well, I guess it was more of a walk than a hike. After we finished our walk, we boarded a tour boat called the Maid of the Mist. We boated all over the river and we got extremely close to the falls. I was worried that we'd get to close to the fall and be soaked!

We spent all day at Niagara Falls and we got hungry. We decided it was lunch time so Brian went on his phone to find a restaurant. He found this great place called Sparks Steakhouse Restaurant. The food there was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it if you'd ever happen to be in the area. After lunch, we spent more time touring Niagara Falls and took lots of pictures. It was getting late so we decided to head out. We drove north back towards the hotel to wash up before dinner. We decided to try to highly regarded Jacob's & Co. Steakhouse just 25 minutes from the hotel. Dinner was delicious, but also extremely pricey. But we all thought the price was worth the atmosphere and food. We drove back to the hotel full and tired.
Day 3 was pretty nice, but I think the following days will be better. With the upcoming events we don't want to miss out on anything!
