Day 3 | Harbourfront Ice Rink (Culture) and Hockey Hall of Fame (Culture)

We checked the electronic thermometer and it said 47 degrees Fahrenheit. We were on the first floor, so the warmer air didn't rise to our room like the higher floors received. We went downstairs to the lobby to eat breakfast. We quickly decided to spend most of the day in our hotel rooms until the heat came back on. At around 1:00 pm, we left for the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was only a 20 minute drive east. After Eddie recovered from his immediate excitement of entering this legendary Hall of Fame, we toured the buildings for about about 2 hours and decided it was time for a late lunch. We were getting extremely hungry with not eating lunch at the appropriate  time. We looked on Google Maps and found this restaurant called Fran's Restaurant and Bar. It was a great place with fairly cheap food. It was only a few minutes walk down the street.

After lunch, we headed to an ice rink called Harbourfront Activities Ice Rink. Since it was cold, we felt like it was appropriate time to go ice skating in Canada. This country is also known for their obsession with hockey. We spent about 3 hours ice skating. Vik fell on the ice and hurt himself. We had to bandage his hands because they were bleeding. We got hot chocolate from the concession stand and left for the hotel. The drive there was about 30 minutes.

We took showers and changed at the hotel to go to dinner. We went to China China Palace Restaurant for dinner tonight. Brian hates chinese food. He whined all night about the terrible experience he had at this amazing restaurant. He threw up his won ton soup and bread.

All of the employees gave Brian a withering glare.  We went home feeling embarrassed that Brian yelled so profoundly his feelings about won ton soup. We went back to the hotel and Vik, James, Eddie, and I all made fun of Brian while he was taking a shower.
